Water Filter for Mechanical Seals... How It Works..
This filtering system contains two filters. This makes it possible to replace the filter cartridges during normal operation, with-out shutting down. Both filters have single cartridges, which ensure longer operation without maintenance. Differential pressure between inlet and outlet filter part is monitored by two pressure gauges. The higher the pres-sure difference gets, the dirtier are the filters. When the pressure difference gets over 28 PSI (2 bars), it is time to replace the filters.
Both filters have a bult-in, automatic by-pass valve. This valve will open when the pressure difference exceeds 35 PSI (2,5 bars). This will prevent the possibility flow reduction to the mechanical seals. |
